The La’Rae aka La’Rae Nichole Thibodeaux, or Rae..I am 31 years old and have been in Houston all my life. A mother of two and stylist/hair-apist to many, I’ve built a life grounded in love, beauty, connections, and self-expression.

I was 19 and in beauty school in Pasadena when I found out I was pregnant with my now 11-year-old daughter Zyla (Z). Ten years later, I had my baby boy Slevin, who is now almost 2.

As a hairstylist I’ve come to appreciate the unique role I play in my clients lives. Often playing the role of a confidant and therapist. My most prized accomplishments are the community I have built and the bonds I’ve made.
